My name is Sean Kennedy and I own and operate Eisenhund Kennel along with my wife Suzanne and our two daughters, Rhiannon and Adia. We live in SW Missouri on 20 beautiful acres nestled up against Spring River. The outdoors is a way of life to us as we spend our time hunting, fishing, shooting, riding atv’s, and more importantly, working, exercising, and playing with our dogs.
Our dogs are our family. In fact, it’s safe to say that I like my dogs more than I like people. Suzanne and I both had German Shepherds growing up and our girls have literally had them their entire lives. Our dogs live in our house with us, sleep with our children, and protect us at night. They run freely on open trails, swim in ponds, and play in rivers. With that being said, don’t confuse our dogs with ordinary family pets, these are extremely high energy, high drive working dogs. High drive dogs that integrate seamlessly with our family due to one thing – Training.
Training and competing is the emphasis of our kennel. Breeding is just a means to the end. If you want to compete at a world class level then you must have a world class dog with world class genetics. So I try to breed the dogs that I want to compete with and that I want to protect my family. A dog that will show aggression on the field during a trial, and then ride home in the backseat with my girls. A dog that will sleep in bed with my child, and then fearlessly defend my home if a stranger comes to the door.
My goal with breeding is to produce genetically superior dogs that will perform on and off the field. We train with the Metro Working Dog Association in Webb City Missouri. Russ Osburn is the trainer and his 30 years of experience and qualifications are outstanding. If you would like to see our dogs and our training this is a great place to start.
The importance of training with dogs was shown to me many years ago through hunting dogs. My brother had a black lab named Tar with unbelievable training for hunting any kind of bird. She was originally trained for ducks, but would do quail, pheasants, chuckers, you name it she would find it. I would watch them train in my back yard and think to myself, what if I had a personal protection dog that was trained in protection as well as Tar is trained to hunt? That thought is what started me on my mission to find and train the absolute best Working Line German Shepherds possible.
I have been very fortunate throughout my career to have world class trainers and breeders willing to take me into their confidence and teach me about quality dogs and quality training. I have seen and worked with numerous world class dogs and have learned how a real high drive dog is supposed to perform. The desire for a well-trained personal protection dog is what got me started. From there I found the sport of Schutzhund and a love of competing with my dogs. Now all of our dogs train and compete on a regular basis.
The Metro Working Dog Association is a RSV2000 and GSDCA Regional Schutzhund/IPO club ran by Russ Osburn in Webb City Missouri. Russ has 30+ years experience training dogs and has a very distinguished resume. A few highlights are: Training Director for GSDCA, titled 50+ dogs in Schutzhund, trained/handled National Universal Seiger, trained/handled National Universal Vice Seiger, two time National FH Champion, and competed this year at RSV World Championship in Korbach Germany.

All breeds are welcome along with all levels of handlers from beginner to competition. The club sent 3 members to the GSDCA Nationals this year so we are very active at a very high level. EISEN VOM SPITZENHUND IPO1
Eisen is our Bomber Vom Wolfsheim son. He was pick of the litter, handpicked by me because he was the biggest, toughest, nastiest, cockiest 5 week old pup I had ever seen. Since then he has matured into a lean, mean, muscled up stud.
Eisen shows true aggression on the field, and at home he will tear the door off the hinges if someone knocks while my girls are home alone. Still cocky, he truly believes he is the baddest dog around. At the same time, he sleeps in bed with my girls at night. Eisen is IPO1 and on his way to IPO3. Eisen is available for stud to approved females.
KORA VOM LEHRBACHER SCHLOB IPO3
Kora was imported from Germany as a top competition prospect. While in Germany she was the youngest dog to compete in her SV LG-FCI at 2 years 7 months of age. She went on to be the youngest competitor at her SV LGA at 2 years 10 months of age. After a year in the U.S. she competed in the GSDCA National Championship.
Kora has some best genetics Germany has to offer. Physically she is built more like a male. She has a large head and broad shoulders. She also has a sweet loving face – but don’t let that fool you. She is all business when she walks on the field. She absolutely loves to work and protection work is her specialty. She will not back to a decoy no matter how big he is, and she has the closest guard you will ever see. Kora has many more championships in her future.
